Anton Shirley, owner of Maumee Sweeper Center, became familiar with the successes of The Open Door and saw an opportunity to help the group in furthering their objectives while also contributing to the community at large.
"We've been fortunate in that our business has had a great year and that success is due in large part to the support of our customers here in the local community. We saw this an opportunity to give back to the community by supporting an organization like The Open Door. They have a great track record of helping individuals return back to the community as contributing members of society. And that's a win-win for everybody involved."
Shirley added, "It's great a feeling being able to help others. And we set up our program as a way for our customers to help in that support effort as well.
