The Singapore Physics Tuition Association has come up with a bright idea that will help not only those who are in need, but also aid the companies that are looking for employees with Physics major. JC Physics Tuition, a well-known physics hub and tutorial centre, is giving tuition funds to deserving students. So, what do they look for to consider a “deserving student”?

First, the association will be holding a 100-item entrance examination, from which they will choose the top 50 highest examinees. These 50 highest scorers will then have another examination, consisting harder and more advanced physics questions. Those who will have the score of 92% and up will be given the scholarship grant, allowing them to have Physics-related courses in any physics tuition Singapore and anywhere around the world.

The scholarship grant is sponsored by Carin Cars and Trucks, WaterWater Desalination Plant, and Petrolaid Oil Company, the largest oil refinery in Asia Pacific. Those who want to study abroad should be able to pass the examination, interviews and other requirements of their chosen universities. On the other hand, passers are automatically admitted if the college or university is within Singapore.
