A fast-drying liquid screed is a specialised flooring product that is rapidly pumped into small or large areas and is a cost-effective to standard concrete or other flooring solutions.

The liquid screed is similar in chemical composition to ready-mix concrete but uses an innovative set engineered mix design with fewer and finer aggregates. The quick-drying liquid screed is used to create smooth interior flooring and is valued for its flowability. The new products from Gyvtec are used in conjunction with underfloor heating systems because of its effectiveness as a void-free, bubble-free flush coating for heating pipes.

A key feature of these new products is that they have significantly lower drying times than calcium sulphate liquid screeds, allowing floors to be used within half the time required for gypsum screeds.

The Gyvtec team is experienced in the rapid installation of quick-dry screed products in residential, commercial, and large-area industrial environments. The company also supplies and installs self-levelling compounds, underfloor heating & cooling, moisture testing, and flowing concrete solutions.

Other services include floor sanding & preparation, as well as the removal of laitance, the weak and crumbling layer that develops during the curing process.

According to a spokesperson for the Gloucester flowing concrete specialist company, “The expansion of our liquid screed products and installation capabilities is in response to a growing need for innovative and rapidly scalable floor screed solutions. We are pleased to offer customers a wider range of liquid screed products to meet any budget.”

Gyvtec is a supplier and installer of screed products in Gloucester and a specialized provider of flowing concrete solutions in the region. More information is available over the phone at 01452-689449 and at the URL above.
