M.A.R is making some major moves in the music industry

M.A.R, a rap artist from Bridgeport, Connecticut, is without a doubt the next to blow from the North East region. M.A.R’s hard work and dedication began in 2010. He performed at the legendary Toad’s Place venue in New Haven, Connecticut at a well known Hip Hop Showcase. After that event he was off and running. He performed at the iconic Webster Hall in New York. He also won the Roc Nation showcase sponsored by Indie Elite Promotions . Next M.A.R’s headlined concerts at The Space in Hamden and attracted a sold-out crowd. Shortly after that, he participated in a tournament hosted by 50 Mics, Def Jam, XXL, and The Source.
He was crowned the Connecticut 50 Mics Champion and was awarded the prize Digiwaxx package. Digiwaxx also released his page to DJ’s all over the world. M.A.R also orchestrated and headlined his own Indie tour “The LightUppp tour” consisting of twelve cities within the northern region alongside Def Jam signee Dave East. This was followed by an eleven city tour with Chris Webby, where he performed to sold-out crowds. M.A.R has also opened for acts such as four time Grammy nominated artist 2 Chainzs at the Harbor
Yard Arena and Lupe Fiasco at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Most recently, he was a guest artist on 105.1fm with Dj Emez he has performed at the Barclays, Foxwoods Casino, and Atlantic City as a featured artist for the Ruff Ryders reunion.
